What advice did your parents give you growing up?  Did you listen?  I wish I had listened more than I did…but them’s the breaks of old age.  Chaco Puebla’s project, Grandmother’s Tips, documents the advice he wishes his parents had dished out and combines his sister’s photography talent, his grandmother’s modelling skills and his passion for typography in one very cute and wise package!

I’m loving how Australians are being recognised more for their fashion – we’re not just the backyard backward cousins, riding to work on kangaroos and having koalas as pets!  Hehe.  These street style shots are awesome and really embody how us Aussies have risen in the fashion ranks.  Also check out ShopBop’s Australian designer lookbook feature – some serious talent there, loving Dion Lee and Zimmermann.

Phew!  It’s getting to the tail end of the year!  Christmas is my favourite time of year, I get to catch up with all my favourite people, eat lots of amazing food and reflect on how lucky I am to be so blessed.  I always love making tasty and interesting drinks (read: cocktails) – last year mine was watermelon, mint and pineapple daquiris with rum or vodka.  These drink recipes look so enticing, I better start preparing my liver!
